Tomorrow’s ride is dedicated to Kelly Lea Tharp

Kelly Lea Tharp

Kelly Tharp was killed on 11/11/08 after attending a friend’s 21st “Social Gathering” birthday party.  Unfortunately, the party was hosted by adults who permitted underage drinking at their home.  The nightmare scenario for Kelly’s mother Myra, played out fifteen minutes after the adults let the young people get into their cars after drinking.

Wow how sad.Im so sorry Myra and family. My ur little girl rip. There are day’s where u can smile because or the happy memories but, then there’s day’s where u cry ur eye’s out over every thought u have of Kelly.I lost my twin’s before they were born but they werw still my babies. No where near the pain u feel.I hope there was legal action takeing on the parent’s that allowed Kelly drink and then drive.I will forever keep u Myra and family in my prayer’s.I was alway’s told everyone who passes away get’s a star in the sky.So every night I go outside find the brightest star and tell my momma I miss her and love her. Please try that and talk to ur Kelly might help you feel better.God bless you momma Myra.

I cry more than anyone will ever know for Kelly, and keep telling her how Sorry I am and how I wish it was me instead of her. I have lived my life however, her’s was cut short. There was no Justice in my daughter’s name. No the parents were not held responsible for their actions as you know Money talks. The DA, her asst. and the district attorney’s of Bexar County swept it all under the rug. Wrote a letter to the DA, her Asst. and made 3 different trips to the Bexar County court house and still they refused to sit down and discuss my daughter’s case with me face to face. Thank U for such kind words.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my son in April 2008 to a drunk driver and I am a MADD volunteer. We do a memorial 4-wheel ride in April in memory of him. God Bless you.

Dear Ms. Tharp, Kelly is a beautiful girl. I am the mother of a beautiful 12 year old girl. Please know that Kelly and your message has reached me and I will be having important conversations with my daughter about alcohol, responsible adults and justice. Thank you, Robyn
